James “Dennis” Fuller was born on December 12, 1942 in Alba, AL. He moved to Lake Placid, FL as a child. In 1963, Dennis met and married the love of his life, Ethel Grantham, and together they raised two daughters: Saundra Green (Skip) of Avon Park, FL, and Nancy Fuller of Sebring, FL. He was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren and a beloved great-grandfather to eleven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Merlene Bush of Bonifay, FL, and Linda Green of Umatilla, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Author Fuller and Cumie Nell Carnley.
A devoted man of faith, Dennis was a charter member and ordained deacon of First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine, where he served his congregation with dedication. His career spanned 26 years as a driver for H.C.R.& B, where he was the CDL instructor for incoming personnel.
Dennis had a deep love for his trucks and cars, but his greatest passion was his family. He was a strong yet compassionate father, a dependable presence, and a guiding force for those he loved. His unwavering support and commitment to his family and faith will be remembered always.
He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, 4001 Sebring Parkway, Sebring, FL.
