James K. Douberley

James “Jimmy” K. Douberley, age 59, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. He was born January 11, 1957 in Avon Park, Florida to H.R. and Dolly (Brown) Douberley. He worked as the manager of a sod farm, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and has been a lifelong resident of Avon Park, Florida.

He is survived by his wife – Kim Douberley of Avon Park, FL; Daughter – Candis Dean (Michael) of Sebring, FL; Son – Wade Douberley (Taylor) of Sebring, FL; Brother – Tommy Douberly (Alice) of Sebastian, FL; Wayne Douberley (Peggy) of Sebring, FL; Sister – Janet Cannady of Sebring, FL; Grandchildren – Josephine, Lowry, and Ashlynn; and 8 Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM and hold a memorial service on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870.
