James C. Cross

James "Jim" Cross, 76, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Sebring. He was born on August 24, 1936, to Harold and Thelma (Powell) Cross, in Orrville, Ohio, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1998, coming from West Virginia. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for a Glass Manufacturer and a member of Grace Brethren Church in Norton, Ohio. He especially loved being with his family and was an avid golfer and a member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Cross of Sebring; two sons, James C. (Melinda) Cross, Jr. of Melbourne and Mark A. (Sherry) Cross of Ft. Myers; brother, Richard Cross of Ohio; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
