James Albert Cowing

James Albert Cowing, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on August 9, 1947 in Buffalo, New York to Robert H. and Florence L. (Schanne) Cowing. James was a member of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He was of the Catholic faith. James had been a resident of Sebring since 1975 coming from Buffalo, NY. He worked as a machinist by day and a disc jockey by night - he was known as the "Rock-N-Roll Doctor". James is survived by his mother, Florence Cowing-Sebring, FL, four brothers, Robert H. (Chris) Cowing-Buffalo, NY; John Cowing-Sebring, FL; Gary Cowing-Sebring, FL; Ronald (Patty) Cowing-Sebring, FL, three sisters, Linda (Tom) Culbertson-Lake Placid, FL; Marian Lomneck-Sebring, FL and Deborah (Steele) Goff-Sebring, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cowing.
