James A. Clark

JAMES A. CLARK James A. Clark, 79, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010, in Sebring. He was born January 20, 1931, to L.M. and Esther M. (Ehrhorn) Clark in Joliet, Illinois, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2003, coming from Charlotte, North Carolina. He was a Missionary, joining SIM in 1991 and retiring in 1999 and was an Associate Member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sebring. Previous to joining SIM, he served in missions with Conservative Baptist 1960-1979; TEAM 1981-1984 and International Students, Inc. 1985-1991. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Clark of Sebring; son, Peter D. Clark, Madrid, Spain; daughters, Rachel (Chris) Hogue, Puyallup, WA and Esther (Bill) Stevens, Matthews, NC and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the SIM Fellowship Hall, Sebring. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the SIM Chapel, Rev. Darrell Arnold officiating, with interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory to either SIM, 4114 Nigeria St., Sebring, Fl 33875 or Good Shepherd Hospice, 4418 Sun N Lake Blvd., Sebring, Fl 33872.
