James Elwood Burris Jr.

James Elwood Burris Jr, 80, passed away on Friday December 11, 2020 in Lake Placid, FL. He was born on August 30, 1940 in Paterson, New Jersey to James Elwood Burris Sr and Margaret (Rhoads) Burris. He had been a Sebring resident since 2002, formerly living in Miramar, FL. James was of Baptist faith and served his country in the US Navy. James was a ham radio operator and enjoyed that very much. He worked as a water plant operator. He is survived by his brother – Lynn Burris of Crestview, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
