James Ronald Barron, age 78, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2019 in Orlando, Florida. He was born August 6, 1941 in Elmhurst, New York to the late James and Lillian (Richardson) Barron. James had been a resident for 20 years coming from Bradenton, FL and was a veteran serving in the US Navy. He enjoyed boating and RVing. James is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Barron of Sebring, FL; Son-Scott Barron of St. Petersburg, FL; two Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. A Celebration of Life may be held at a future date. If anyone would like to make a donation in his memory, he requested that they be made to the Humane Society of Highlands County, 7321 Haywood Taylor Blvd., Sebring, FL 33876, or to Southeastern Guide Dogs Veterans Program, 4210 77th St. E., Palmetto, FL 34221
