Jacquelyn Constance Jackson

Jacquelyn Constance Jackson, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in Sebring, FL. She was born on March 31, 1948 in Avon Park, FL to the late Charles and Johnnie (Collier) Jackson. Jacquelyn worked as a teacher, and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church, and the Spelman Alumni. She enjoyed teaching, playing the piano, and vacationing. Jacquelyn loved her family and the Lord. She is survived by her children: April J. Conchran of Avon Park, FL; Jacques H. Cochran (Whitney) of San Diego, CA; one grandchild: Amare Brown; brothers: Jean Jackson of Sebring; Charles Jackson of Long Island, NY; Alfred Jackson of Avon Park; Marvin Jackson of Avon Park; Rory Jackson of Sarasota; sisters: Allene Manning of Irvine, CA; Barbara Kay Banks of Decatur, GA; and many nieces and nephews. Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her siblings: George Jackson; Fred Manning; Gloria Ann Walker; Joan Dickie; Mariam Murray; and Aleen Jackson. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the New Mount Olive AME Church in Avon Park. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the New Mount Olive AME Church with burial to follow at Bougainvillea Cemetery.
