Jack Stanton Woodard age, 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on July 4, 1935 to William and Olive M. (Snyder) Woodard in Parkersburg, WV. He was a truck driver, and was the owner/operator of the Gulf Oil service station in Vienna, WV before moving to Florida; He was the past president of the Vienna Jaycees, captain of the Parkersburg High School Big Red Football Team in 1953 and served in the U.S. Army; he also enjoyed to golf and fish. He was a resident of Sebring since 1989 coming from Williamstown, WV. He is survived by his wife Kay Woodard, Sebring; daughters, Deborah Ann Pennell, High Point, NC and Jacqueline Heltzel (John), Chalsea, OK; nephews, Steven Woodard and R. Michael Woodard; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Lynn Melonas and brother, Robert Woodard. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Moore officiating.
