J R Brown

J R Brown, age 78, of Bereah, Florida, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014. He was born October 20, 1935 in Crosby, Tennessee to Henry and Virgie (Jenkins) Brown. He worked as a mechanic, but was a farmer at heart, enjoying his cattle and farming. JR has been a resident of Bereah, FL since 1973, coming from New Jersey. He is survived by his wife - Margaret Brown; Daughter - Bonny Owens; Grandson - Christopher Owens; Sisters - Ella Ryan and Ruth Downs. He is preceded in death by four sisters - Ota Brown, Gladys Jenkins, Polly Weeks, Betty Lamson; and Brother - Roby Brown. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park. He will be laid to rest in Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ.
