Ivan W. Crofton

IVAN W. CROFTON Ivan W. Crofton, 85, of Sebring, FL, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at his home. He was born November 6, 1925, to Bernard P. and Mildred L. (Frederick) Crofton in Mount Carroll, Illinois and had been a resident of Sebring since 1994, coming from St. Petersburg, FL. He was a farmer; a member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church; very active with the Gideons International and was a bond servant for the Lord. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Dominick Tucson, AZ; sons, Ivan Paul (Diane) Crofton, LaSalle, IL and Tom W. (Kathy) Crofton, Sebring; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy D. Crofton and one brother. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Whispering Pines Baptist Church, Sebring, with Rev. Steve Trinkle officiating. The family will receive friends preceding the service, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to The Gideons International.
