Iva Victoria Knouse

Iva Victoria Knouse, age 79, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 23, 2024, in Avon Park, Florida. She was born on November 23, 1944, in Durham, NC, to Samuel R. McBroom and Iva Victoria (Cannon) McBroom.

Iva was a woman of grace and kindness, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her son, John Larson; sister, Betty Lou Spears Rosen of Sebring, FL; 6 nephews; and 1 niece.  Also left to cherish her memory are 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In her free time, Iva enjoyed pursuing her hobbies and interests, which included going to yard sales, collecting antiques, visiting the beach, and diving into the pages of a good book. Her love for adventure and exploration knew no bounds, and she embraced each day with a sense of curiosity and wonder. Those who knew Iva remember her as a great sister and best friend.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
