Irvin William Ishman, 99, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in Sebring. He was born October 14, 1913, to Charles Clinton and Ella (Kern) Ishman in Windber, PA, and had been a resident of Sebring for 35 years, coming from Windber. He was a bookkeeper for the coal industry; served as Fire Chief for Winder for 15 years and attended the Lutheran church. He is survived by his sons, John C. Ishman, Clearwater, FL; Bill I. Ishman, Windber, PA and Ron C. Ishman, Sykesville, MD; daughter, Barbara Hackett, Orlando, FL and 12 grandchildren. Services will be held in Windber, PA next week. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd., Sebring, FL 33870.
