Irene Albritton Giddens

Irene Albritton Giddens, age 99, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015 in Haines City, FL. She was born on March 9, 1916 in Punta Gorda, FL to the late John and Josephine (Byrd) Goff. Irene had been a lifelong resident of Avon Park, she was a homemaker, and of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her great niece: Peggy (Robin) Cook of Haines City, FL. Irene was preceded in death by her husbands: Hubert Albritton and Tuck Giddens. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park.
