Irene E. Cappel Irene E. Cappel, age 82, passed away on April 21, 2014 in Sebring, Florida, she was born on August 13, 1931 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to the late William L. and Gerda T. (Hogy) Anderson. Irene had been a resident of Sebring since 1985 coming from Wittenberg, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Hand Bell Choir and loved music. She was an avid Packers, Brewers and Badgers fan and liked to golf. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by children: Kevin (Mary) Cappel - Winona, MN, Karen (Walter) Wolfe - Sebring, FL; sisters: Yvonne (Harold) Doede - AZ, Gerda (Donald) Cappel - NM; foster brother: Jeffrey Weyer - WI; grandchildren: Nic (Tashia) Cappel and Carly Cappel. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Robert P. Cappel. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 26, 2014, 2:00pm, at St. John United Methodist Church, with Reverend Ronald DeGenaro, Jr. and Pastor Shiela Swanger officiating.
