Imogene Comer

Imogene Comer, age 87, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. Mrs. Comer was born in Wilkinson, Indiana on September 4, 1926 to James Henry and Lucy (Welch) Piper. She was a Pharmacist for the Eli Lilly Company, member of the VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary, member of the First Baptist Church in Avon Park and had been a resident of Sebring, Florida since 1997 coming from Marathon, Florida. Mrs. Comer is survived by her husband-Dr. Jack P. Comer of Sebring, Florida; daughter-Suzanne Comer of Sebring, Florida; grandchildren-Brian, David and Chris and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, June 13, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park with funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Jon Beck and Dr. Howard Lehman officiating.
