Ila Mae Mccall Cox

Ila Mae McCall Cox, age 50, of Sebring, FL, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 25, 2014. Ila dedicated her life to her love for Christ, and her love for her family and friends and provided a beautiful example for us all. She was born on October 8, 1964 in Laurel, Mississippi to James William & Mary Alice (LaMont) McCall. She worked as a Secretary for Wicks, Brown, Williams, & Co., CPA's, was a member of First Baptist Church of Sebring where she was very active as a Sunday school and preschool teacher, and has been a resident of Sebring, FL since 1983, coming from Bonifay, FL. She is survived by her Husband - Mark Cox of Sebring, FL; Daughter - Jamie Robin Cox of Sebring, FL; Mother - Mary Alice McCall of Sebring, FL; Sister - Alice Lyon (Ralph) of Sebring, FL; Brothers - Bill R. McCall (Robin) of McCalla, AL; Jim S. McCall (Debbie) of McCalla, AL. She is preceded in death by her Daughter - Kinsley Lauren Cox and Father - Dr. James William McCall. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Sebring with a private family interment in Pinecrest Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Sebring for the Children's Ministries or to the Ila and Kinsley Cox Living Memorial Fund, payable to Champion for Children Foundation of Highlands County, Inc.
