HUBERT LEE JACKSON Hubert Lee Jackson, 85, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010, at his home. He was born March 1, 1924, to Charlie and Sally (Dukes) Jackson in Central City, Kentucky, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2002, coming from Wauchula, FL, where he had lived since 1978. He was a Supervisor for Prestolite Battery Plant, a Division of Deltra Corporation and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He attended Parkway Free Will Baptist Church in Sebring and was a member of First Baptist Church of Zolfo Springs, FL. Mr. Jackson is survived by his Wife, Josephine Jackson of Sebring; Son, Barton Lee Jackson, Indiana; Step-Daughter, Gloria (Jim) Hughes, Sebring; Step-Son, Wayne (Charlotte) Matheny, Morgantown, WVA; Sister, Jackie (Clarence) Trueleson, Tampa, FL; five Grandchildren and five Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents; five Brothers and two Sisters. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. Funeral Services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2010, at Parkway Free Will Baptist Church, Sebring, Rev. Jimmy Scaggs and Rev. John Cave officiating.
