HOMER LEE HETRICK Homer Lee Hetrick, 83, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in Sebring. He was born March 8, 1927, to Cecil and Margaret (Schneider) Hetrick in DuBois, Pennsylvania, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1989, coming from Winchester, Kentucky. He was a Supervisor in the truck axles industry, retiring in 1989 after over 30 years with Rockwell International in Winchester. He attended Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, where he was a wrestler and was honored by being inducted into the Hall of Fame as Outstanding Wrestler. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a U.S. Navy Seal; was a member of the Elks and Golf Hammock Mens Association and attended St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring. Mr. Hetrick is survived by his wife, Dana Hetrick of Sebring; daughter, Tammy (Mike) Brown, Jeffersonton, Virginia; grandchildren, Kristi Swisher of California and Brady Swisher of Virginia; brothers, Robert Hetrick and Cecil Hetrick, both of Pennsylvania and sisters, Shirley Myers, Indiana and Alice Smith of Pennsylvania. A Memorial Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at St. John United Methodist Church, Rev. Ron Degenaro officiating.
