Hilda L Whipple

Hilda L. Whipple, age 88, passed away on March 28, 2014, in Sebring, FL. She was born on March 1, 1926, in Herndon, PA, to the late John and Laura (Wetzel) Ziegler. Hilda was a member of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine in PA; she loved being outdoors, fishing and riding motorcycles with her children. She loved little children and drove a school bus in PA. She is survived by her two children: Gale Decker (Alan)-Sebring, FL; Dale Day (Joe)-Polk City, FL, six grandchildren: Dana; Stephanie D.; Tina; Stephanie J.; Angie; Chris, and two great-grandchildren: Devon; Claire. She was preceded in death by her husband: Sterling D. Whipple; brothers: Dallas and Robert Ziegler. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 1:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with W. Mike Adams officiating.
