Herbert L Campbell

Herbert L. Campbell, age 92, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on February 27, 1923, and was raised in McLeansboro, Illinois to the late Chalon and Lucy (Harrison) Campbell. Herbert moved to Sebring in 1984 from Houma, Louisiana. He was a member of Avon Park 1st Baptist Church; enjoyed woodworking, fishing, art and cooking. Survivors include his daughters: Lana Hammons (Tom)-San Diego, CA and Anita Fritzer-Deland, FL, grandson: TJ Hammons, IV, brother-in-law: Wayne Page, sisters-in-law, Nadine Campbell and Patricia Campbell and many nieces and nephews. Herbert was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Eugenia Campbell, three brothers and one sister-in-law. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, September 24, 2015, 2:00pm, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with Reverend Howard Leman officiating.
