Henry Turner Roland

Henry Turner Roland, age 73, passed away on August 14, 2016 in Avon Park, FL. He was born on August 26, 1942 in Holmes County, FL to the late Henry and Dollie May (Mixon) Roland. Henry had been a resident of Avon Park since 1952 having come from Holmes County, FL.  He was a member of Community Bible Church, loved fishing, riding his golf cart, the outdoors, westerns, and most of all his family and the time spent with them. Henry is survived by his wife: Linda Faye Roland of Avon Park, FL; children: Henry T. “Albert” and Mickey Roland, Jr. of Avon Park, FL; Sebrena and Junior Smith of Sebring, FL; Gloria Beck of White, GA; Melissa and Doug Sexton of Calhoun, GA; fourteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by his siblings: Robert Roland; Ray Roland; and Charlene Harris. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Community Bible Church in Avon Park.
