Helen Standley

It is with love that we announce the passing of Helen Diane Standley

She walked closely with Jesus Christ, letting her faith guide her every step. Her church family was a source of great joy and purpose, and she rarely missed an opportunity to share her faith and encourage others with the hope she found in Christ.

She also found happiness in caring for the world around her. She took great pride in creating beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces and was always willing to lend a helping hand by caring for the yards of friends and neighbors. Her quiet acts of service reflected her generous spirit and brought joy to those around her.

She valued her privacy and lived a life marked by simple kindness, steadfast faith, and a willingness to serve others without seeking recognition.

She will be remembered for her love of the Lord, her caring heart, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of those who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held at Independent Baptist Church of Sebring. 5704 County Rd. 17 South, Sebring, FL 33876, on Saturday, August 29th at 10:00 am. The celebration of life will also be live-streamed at https://www.youtube.com/@independentbaptistchurchof4354

Helen is survived by her loving daughter, Kelly Standley and son, William Standley; brothers and sisters, Patricia Mulanax, Laura Malyuk, Raymond Malyuk, James Malyuk, Daniel Malyuk, Phillip Stewart, and Richard Malyuk. Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved grandson, Jaden Standley. 

Helen was preceded in death by her sister: Kathryan Sawyers; niece and nephews, Carolyn Simpson (McGrew), Baby Justin, and David McGrew.

In place of flowers, the family encourages those wishing to honor her memory to consider a donation to Independent Baptist Church of Sebring.
