HELEN MARIE ROHAN Helen Marie Rohan, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in Tampa, FL. She was born in Newark, NJ on March 7, 1922 to Henry S and Katherine Ledig Jackson. She was a Secretary for a hospital, member of Union Congregational Church. She enjoyed attending church activities, traveling and spending time with friends, she loved animals. She was a caregiver at ARC she called them her boys, took them to church and considered them part of her family. and was a resident of Avon Park since 1980, coming from Homestead, FL. She is survived by 2 nieces, Ina Kay Meyer, Aurora, Colorado and Peggy Ann (Jeff) Bostick, Harrison, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, George Henry Rohan in 1982. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Union Congregational Church with Rev. Bill Breylinger officiating. Contributions maybe made in her memory to Union Congregational Church. Cremation arrangements entrusted to: Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Avon Park, Florida
