Helen M. Preston

Helen M. Preston, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Sebring, FL. She was born October 31, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph Garson and Angela (Pacholczyk) Garson. Helen graduated business school at age 16. She was a secretary and later personal assistant to the higher echelons at Sears. She was of Christian faith, and has been a resident of Sebring since 1980. She enjoyed golf, bowling and gardening. Helen was always a caregiver taking care of friends and family. She is survived by her sister – Josephine Gawronski. She was preceded in death by her parents - Joseph and Angela, husband - Harold, siblings – John Garson, Walter Garson, Joseph Garson, Mary Dean, Josephine Cianfrani, Frances Eckert. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at  Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with John Cooke officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
