Helen Mary Graves

Helen Mary Graves age 87 passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 in Avon Park, Florida. Mrs. Graves was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on October 23, 1924 to Joseph and Anna (Junkersfeld) Sorg. She worked in retail sales, was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, a winter visitor since 1989 and became a resident of Florida in 2005 coming from Indiana. She is survived by her husband of 46 years-Chuck Graves of Sebring, Florida; daughter-Sue Frese of Avon Park, Florida; sons-Merle Thomas of Indianapolis, Indiana, Wayne (Vicki) Thomas of Sebring, Florida and Bill (Carolyn) Thomas of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother-Eugene Sorg of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister-Frances Riga of Jonesboro, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial service will be held at a later date in Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.
