Helen J. Gavoni passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Peter Stefanoff and Mary Humpalak on June 2, 1930. Helen is survived by her daughter: Laura Ramirez, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: Peter and Mary Stefanoff, husband: Donald Gavoni, children: Donald and John Gavoni. Helen enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and she really enjoyed the DIY projects, but her most treasured moments were spending time with family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 10:00 am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, with entombment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens at 11:00 am.
