HELEN RAE DAVIS Helen Rae Davis, age 93, went to live with Jesus on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. She was born in Andrews, Indiana on April 20, 1917 to Don Raymond and Nondas Leedy Parker. She attended Manchester College in Manchester, Indiana. She married Glen Anderson Davis on September 8, 1940 who preceded her in death on May 17, 1994. The owned and operated Dixie Home Furniture Store in Okeechobee for 20 years and she attended First Baptist Church and the Lydia class in Okeechobee. She is survived by her Daughters Glenelen Tomlinson (Gene) of Okeechobee, FL and Mary Faith Fawley (Jerry) of Mt. Crawford, VA; Son Gary Davis (Nancy) of Boca Raton, FL; Sister Mary Margaret Frish of Clermont, FL; 6 Grandchildren & 14 Great Grandchildren. A daughter, Cherie Lois Sawyer, granddaughter, Jan Rabon Casbeer and her husband await her in heaven. There will be a private family graveside service in Evergreen Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life service on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Okeechobee, FL with Brother Mickey Evans and Rev.
