Hazel Janette Steedley

Hazel J Steedley, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Survived by, pre-deceased son Martin (Marty) Arnold, daughters Michell Carter, Lisa McIntyre and Sherri Lapadula, Son in Law Richard LaPadula, grandchildren 5, and great grandchildren 8, sister Dorothy Barefield and life long friends.

Hazel was a life long resident of Highlands County whose career spanned a lifetime of banking and volunteering for numerous charitable organizations.  She was a passionate Rotarian for many years and was a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Rotarian.  She dedicated her life to the Lord,  helping others and spreading joy and love everywhere she went.

Her favorite blessing, no matter who was at the table which was never just family, was….”while some of us here today are joined by blood, we are all joined at the heart.”

In lieu of flowers,  please donate to one of the organizations that were dear to her heart.  They are Meals On Wheels, The Salvation Army, and The American Cancer Society. Services will be held on Friday, August 11th at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Sebring with Pastor Jason Waters officiating.
