Harvey Roy Mitchell Sr, age, 87, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. He was born on January 18, 1938, in Detroit Michigan. The son of Harley and Delphia (Bogue) Mitchell. Harvey worked as a plumber in the Local 98 Plumbers Union in Detroit Michigan. Harvey will be remembered for working hard all of his life. He was an active member of the Eagles, Moose Lodge, American Legion and VFW. Harvey raised funds for improving the clubs as well as cooking and helping out in construction and plumbing in his early years of retirement. He enjoyed life and always liked to have a good time and laugh with friends.Harvey is survived by daughters Gingerlee Mitchelllindo (Kalvin)and Heidi Renee White of Sebring, Son in law Howard Lewis III Grandchildren Sonya Hunter, Howard William Lewis IV, William Lewis, Donavon Carlton and Ashley Mercedes Torres. He is proceeded in death by his parents, son Harvey Roy Mitchell Jr. and daughter Jennifer Lewis.Harvey was married to Mary Garcia for 38 years before she predeceased him in 2019. Her family will mourn his passing. Alex (Cindy) Jerry, George Jerry, Sue (Ed) Domeyer, Terry (Kim) Garcia, Lori Bartosz/Jeff Johnson, Tim (Pam) Garcia. Grandchildren: Geoff, Adam, Andy, Nathan, Mitchell, Josh, Jestine, Janele, Gracen, Sarah, Aaron, Sarena. Great grandchildren: Addie, Rosalee, Josephine, Jamie, Teddy. Grandson Tim predeceased him.
