Harold Junior Fisher, 80, of Lake Placid, FL, passed away on March 30, 2025. He was born on May 7, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, MO, to the late George Henry and Lou Ella Fisher. In 1968, Harold moved to Lake Placid, where he built a life rooted in hard work, generosity, and a deep love for family, friends, and animals.
A dedicated truck driver by trade, Harold took pride in his work and in the skills that made him a true handyman—able to fix just about anything. He was a man of simple joys, finding peace in fishing, westerns, and the companionship of his beloved animals, from his loyal dogs to the chickens he raised. He had a special fondness for horses and cared deeply for all creatures.
Though he kept a close circle, Harold cherished his friendships and valued the time spent with those he held dear. His generosity and love for his family were constants in his life, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Harold will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness, hard work, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
