HARLEY BERT FAIRWEATHER Harley Bert Fairweather, 83, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011, in Sebring. He was born February 15, 1928, to William and Vera E. (Turner) Fairweather in Portland, Oregon, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2010, coming from San Diego, CA. He was Minister; a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bostonia in El Cajon, CA. He is survived by his wife, Jean E. Fairweather of Sebring; daughters, Brenda (Tim) Smith, Sebring and Janet N. (Joe) Johnson, Long Beach, CA; brother, Dr. Bill Fairweather, Austin, TX; and four grandchildren, Adam, Angela, Justin and A.J. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2011, in the Fellowship Hall of SIM, Sebring. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011, in the SIM Chapel, Sebring, with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to First Baptist Church of Bostonia, 1025 North 2nd St., El Cajon, CA 92021-5844.
