Gregory Arthur Glowatz passed away at his residence in Sebring, Florida on October 22, 2025 after prolonged illness. He was born on December 10, 1956 at Saratoga Hospital in Roseville, Michigan, the son of Gordon Rudolph and Marion Antoinette (nee’ Sollers) Glowatz. He received his high school diploma in Warren, Michigan and was employed in residential and industrial construction before retiring and relocating to Florida in 2011. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Ann Kohler-Glowatz (nee’ King), son by prior marriage Daniel Gregory Glowatz, grandsons Brian and Lincoln, step-children Joshua and Jason Kohler and Danielle (Dusty) Bowman, step-grandchildren Alyssa, Christian and Charlotte Kohler and Henry and Shelby Bowman, siblings Randy Glowatz and Gordon Osteen, step-sister Samantha Glowatz, and extended family Nancy Dufor, Pamela Myers, and Chris, David and Phillip Burke. He was predeceased by his parents, brother William Glowatz, loyal pets Missy and Durango, and his dear “Mom” Ann Marie (nee’ Hoffman) Burke Glowatz.Greg was a life-long collector of bottle openers and an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycling, metal detecting, and often served as a hunting guide in Colorado. He was a member of Moose Lodge #2259 in Sebring. A private memorial service was held and he will be interred in Colorado.
