Grace M. Garnett

Grace M. Garnett, age 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, December 1, 2017 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born on July 17, 1919 in Tawas City, Michigan to the late Elgin E. and Frances M. (Berzinsky) Hill.  Grace moved to Crystal Lake Club in 1987 from Michigan and became very involved.  She was the first non-elected president of Crystal Lake Club.  She was the oldest of nine siblings, loved to sew, crochet, cook, loved to golf, and loved her family and church.  Survivors include Daughter-Jeannine Schumaker (Ray) of Pennsylvania; Brother-William Hill of West Virginia; Grandchildren-Kenneth (Michelle) of Pennsylvania; Donald (Kimberly) of Pennsylvania; Darryl (James) of Florida and Great-Grandchildren-Jared, Ksenia and Grant.  She is preceded by her parents; husband Merritt Garnett; four brothers and three sisters.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church with Rev. John C. Grodzinski officiating.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Avon Park, 324 E.
