Gordon V. Proskine

Gordon V. Proskine, age 89, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on June 17, 1926 in Sanford, New York to the late Thomas and Edna (Cowan) Proskine. Gordon was a veteran in the U.S. Army having served during World War II. He spent his career as a Lineman for the Electric Company in Scotia, New York; retired in 1988 and began wintering in Sebring. Some of his favorite past-times were golfing, tennis, skiing and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Proskine, son, Gordon Proskine (Sue)-Watervliet, NY, grandchildren, Rachel and Eric Proskine, brothers, Tyler Proskine (Buena), FL; Alynn Proskine (Shirley)-Norwich, NY and sister, Alice Mary Young (Dave)-VA.
