Gordon Lewis Parker

Gordon Lewis Parker, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.  He was born January 2, 1936 in Northampton, MA to the late Ernest A. and Irene G. (Porter) Parker.  Gordon had resided in Sebring, FL for 23 years coming from Chesterfield, MA.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Berlin Crisis in Schwa Bach, Germany.  Gordon loved golf, fishing, hunting, skiing, camping, hiking and the outdoors.  He liked to work on cars and was a member of the Sun ‘n Lake Men’s Golf Association.  He is survived by his wife-Diane Parker of Sebring, FL; children-Michael Parker (Lisa) of Cody, WY; Jeffery Parker (Diane) of Sebring, FL; Caren Parker of Orlando, FL; brother in law-Richard Roberge of Southampton, MA; Grandchildren-Robert Parker; David Parker; Great-Grandchildren-James Parker; Sara Parker; Nicholas Parker; Step-Great-Grandchildren-Aniyah Whitlock; Aydan Whitlock.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2:30pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, FL.  Memorial contributions may be made in Gordon’s name to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd, Sebring, FL  33870.
