GLYNDA MARIE TODD Glynda Marie Todd, age 71, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 in Tampa, FL. She was born in Tifton, Georgia on July 22, 1939 to Elzie Lee and Lera Pearl (Clark) ONeal. She was a Home Health Aide, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Avon Park. She enjoyed taking care of others, fishing, cooking, her pets, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Scott (Patty) Thompson of Dundee, FL; Terri (Everett) Thompson of West Hamlin, WV; Steve Thompson of Dundee FL; Stuart Thompson of Lake Wales, FL; Susan Steely of Auburndale, FL; Belinda ONeal of Bartow, FL; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Sam Todd. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Avon Park with Rev. George Hall officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, July 18, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer society.
