Gloria Jean Thomas

Gloria Jean Thomas, age 73, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on December 29, 1952, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Smith) Davis. She was a graduate of Ellet High School and retired from Hiney Printing where she worked as a Credit Manager. Gloria lived a full and meaningful life and dedicated her life to her 5 children that she raised, loved unconditionally, continuously encouraged, and provided guidance to throughout their lives. Gloria was a strong, beautiful soul full of love, kindness, compassion, a warm smile and an uncanny sense of humor. Gloria cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved gardening, enjoyed crafting, was an avid reader and treasured riding motorcycles, traveling and making memories along the way. She is survived by David Thomas of Ohio, sister Sharon Shoyat of Ohio, children: Gary Hoffman (Maryann) of Florida, Barbara Hoffman of Michigan, Kimberley Meacham of Ohio, Doreen Hagen (Jeff) of Ohio, Kristen Hoffman of Ohio, 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren and her friends Connie Thomas (Gym) of Florida, JoAnn Dingmann (Peter) of Florida and Donna Sitko of Ohio. Per her request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
