Gloria M Hart

Gloria M. Hart, age 78, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 in Sebring, FL. She was born on January 16, 1937 in Torrington, CT to the late John and Viola (Vincent) Hackett. Gloria had been a resident of Avon Park since 1998 having come from Isle Lamotte, VT. She was a member of the Union Church and a minister at Union Congregational. Gloria loved working at church, was a former VP of the Board of Directors at the Knoll Senior Park, loved serving people, loved her Kenilworth family, where she was awarded with the Wall of Fame Award. She is survived by her longtime friends: Milo and Lisa Lockerby and Char and Skip Barthel of Avon Park, FL, and brothers: William Hackett of Torrington, CT, and James Belladella of Winsted, CT and Isle Lamotte, VT. Special thank you to the staff of Kenilworth Care and Rehab for their compassion and care of Gloria. A service to celebrate Gloria’s life will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Union Church located at 106 N. Butler Ave. in Avon Park, FL 33825.
