Gloria Maria Calderon

Gloria Maria Calderon, age 85, passed away on February 16, 2020. She was born on November 13, 1934 in Puerto Rico to Juan and Georgeina (Rois) Mendez. Gloria had been a Highlands County resident for over twenty years coming from New York, City, New York. She enjoyed music and liked to joke and was a prankster, she also loved to cook, but most of all she loved her family.

Gloria is survived by her children, Timothy Calderon of Tampa, Florida, Richard Calderon and Stephen Calderon; sister, Juanita Ortiz; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, Florida.
