Gloria Bruce

Gloria J. Bruce of Sebring passed away on Tuesday December 17, 2013. She was born on October 15, 1930, in Gray, Pennsylvania, to John and Lena Kubasik. She was a homemaker and formerly an employee of the Pennsylvania State University, where she worked as an editor in the Audio-Visual Services Library and where she also attended classes, earning her Associates' degree. She leaves behind a loving husband, Richard D. Bruce ; daughter Kathleen Couprie (Bernard), daughter Betsy Henning (Tom), son Scott (Anne), son Tom (Anne), daughter Joan Narkum (David), daughter Luann Gips (Jerry) and she was preceded in death by son Rob (fiancée Sandy). Gloria was a devoted wife and mother who welcomed each new child in her extensive, extended family with great joy. Her enthusiastically received grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving her are Nathan, Aaron, Adam, Matt, Spencer, Audrey, Leesa, David, Ben, Julie, Nick, Ali, Tommy, Chloe, Rebecca, Grant and Maxwell. Memorial Services for friends and family will be held at a later date. Friends wishing to pay their respects are invited to stop in at their home this evening, Thursday, December 19 th from 5 pm to 8 pm.
