Glenn E. Eiland, age 85, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was born on January 11, 1928 in Sebring, FL to Cecil and Mozelle (Browning) Eiland. He was a Land Surveyor, of Christian Faith, member of the American Legion in Sebring, FL, VFW in Sebring, FL, loved fishing and riding motorcycles, and served in the US Navy during the WW II era. He is survived by his Daughter - Lawanda J. Payne of Sebring, FL; Brother - Harold Eiland (Irene) of Jacksonville, FL; Sister - Joyce Scott (Curtis) of Georgia; 2 Grandchildren- James L. Johnson of Sebring, FL; John D. Mier (Jana) of Jacksonville, FL; and 1 Great Granddaughter - Courtney R. Johnson of Sebring, FL. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Pinecrest Cemetery in Sebring, FL.
