Geraldine "Geri" Sue Snyder

Geraldine “Geri” Sue Snyder, 76, passed away on September 5, 2024. She was born on March 25, 1948, in LaPorte, Indiana, Geri was the beloved daughter of the late Alfred and Harriette Hubner. She graduated from Rolling Prairie High School in 1966, and in 1995, she moved to Sebring, Florida, where she lived the remainder of her life. Geri dedicated her professional life to being an insurance agent.

She is survived by her beloved children: Laura  Stoewer of LaPorte, IN; Pamela Dickey of Del Rey Beach, FL; and Dawn Chlebowski of LaPorte, IN.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Geri was preceded in death by her loving husband, Terry W. Snyder, who was the love of her life; her daughter, Shannon Snyder; and her siblings, Lorraine Schoof, Diane Hubnor and Robert Helfer.

Geri was a woman of immense warmth and generosity, always putting her family and loved ones first. Her heart was as big as her love for nature. She found great joy in sitting outside, watching the birds, and being surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors. A dedicated volunteer, she gave her time and energy to the Breast Cancer Foundation, a cause that was close to her heart.

In addition to her love for family and nature, Geri had a passion for travel, especially enjoying cruises with Terry. Their shared adventures were among her happiest memories. Known for her kind heart, sharp mind, and selfless spirit, Geri touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.  May her memory be a blessing to all who loved her.
