GEORGE WILSON DISHMAN George Wilson Dishman, 79, of Lorida, Florida, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010, at his home. He was born January 16, 1931, to Carl Robertson and Ella Eudoxa (Trimble) Dishman in Detroit, Michigan, and had been a resident of Lorida since 1990, coming from Detroit. He was employed in automotive sales, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a member of Bassinger Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Janet Peach-Dishman of Lorida; sons, George W. Dishman, Jr., Houston, TX; Kevin (Shelly) Peach and Glenn Peach, both of Michigan; sister, Nonnie Dyer, Detroit, MI; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Linda Baker Dishman; daughter, Denise Stockman and grandson, Shane Peace. A Memorial Service will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Bassinger Baptist Church.
