George Warren Smith passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in Sebring, Florida at the age of 80. The son of Aaron Albert and Helen (Korte) Smith. George worked as a  mechanical engineer. His passion was sailing; first on the Great Lakes, then Florida and the Caribbean. He and Helen loved to travel. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen of Sebring, Florida; daughters, Karen Smith Kight (Roger) of Alabama; Kathie Smith ( Danilo Claveria) of Florida; sisters, Mary Oliver ( Earl L “ Pete “), Bonnie Vozel, Carol Radwanski (Louis), Donna Kerbrat (Joseph Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Lane Kight, Jake Harris, Ann Marie Kight and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Florida.
