George Wallace Robey Jr.

George W. Robey, Jr. passed away on December 13, 2017, in Sebring, FL. He was born on October 9, 1935 in Washington D.C. to the late George and Dorothy (Haislip) Robey. He has been a resident of Sebring since 1997, coming from Hawaii. George proudly served his country in the Army. He served three tours in Vietnam, earning numerous medals including a purple heart. He enjoyed fishing, telling stories, and having a good time with friends. He was the kind of person that if you needed something he was always there. He loved his family and will be dearly missed. Survivors include: stepdaughter-Valarie M. Pedro and stepson-Francis Pedro; Brother-Wayne (Patricia) Robey, nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife-Violet Robey. A visitation will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 2 pm with the service to follow at 3 pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring.
