George Ray Robertson

George Ray Robertson, son of the late Oscar and Nina Alma Robertson was born in Sikeston, Missouri on February 11, 1938. He died at Adventhealth in Lake Placid, Florida on January 9, 2020 at the age of 81. He was united in marriage to Vera Ladina Lambert in Dexter, Missouri on October 10, 1958. No children were born to this union. George had lived in Dexter a number of years and worked at Bennett Appliance. He later was a self-employed carpenter, worked as a maintenance and projector operator at the movie theaters, and Pruitt Glass Company the last thirteen years until he retired in 1995. George and Ladina moved from Dexter, Missouri to Lake Placid, Florida in 2009. He is survived by 4 nephews in Missouri, 3 nieces and 1 nephew in Tennessee, and his dear friends Neil and Lavern Garner. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother and sister-in-law, his half-brother and sister-in-law,

his sister and brother-in-law.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday January, 20, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the club house at Tomoka Heights for Family and friends.
