George John Meyer

George John Meyer, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Avon Park, FL. He was born on May 26, 1933 in Oshkosh, WI to the late John Paul and Lida (Kuebler) Meyer. George served in the US Army during the Korean War and later worked in the Natural Gas Industry. He had been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1994 having come from Oshkosh, WI. George is survived by his wife of 59 years: Nancy Meyer of Avon Park, FL; son: Gregory J. Meyer (Heather) of Hudson, WI; daughter: Stacy E. Piel (Aaron) of West Bend, WI; and five grandchildren.
