George Liers

George Liers of 4720 Wilderness Trail, Sebring, FL, passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 84. He was born on January 24, 1938 in Queens, NY where he grew up with his 3 brothers and 1 sister. George loved to fix things. He worked as an auto mechanic for over 50 years. George is survived by Henry Liers, brother; Marjorie Jones, sister; Linda Liers, spouse; Marc Liers, son; Daniel Liers, grandson; Dawn Navon, daughter; Jake Navon, grandson; Dylan Navon, grandson; Louis Mack, step-son; Owen Mack, step-grandson; Julia Mack, step-granddaughter; and Kaydence Hagan, step-great granddaughter. George is preceded in death by Arthur Liers, brother; and William Liers, brother. George was a wonderfully devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. The family would like to thank caregivers Carie Ward and Marlene Dickerson for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days. Family and friends are invited to attend a service at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home located at 4001 Sebring Parkway, Sebring, FL, on March 10, 2023 at 11:30am. A luncheon will follow at Homers Buffet located at 1000 Sebring Square, Sebring, FL 33870. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens will be separate from the funeral home service and will be determined at a later date.
