GEORGE RICHARD FRANTOM George Richard Frantom, 86, of Sebring, FLO, passed away Friday, January 2, 2011, at his home. He was born December 15, 1924, to Charles O. and Goldie E. (Vorhees) Frantom in Hillsdale County, Michigan, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1981, coming from Hillsdale. He was a Mail Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and a member of N.A.R.F.E. and the Rural Mail Carrier Association. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II and also as a member of the U.S. Army Reserves for 25 years. He was a member of College Baptist Church in Hillosdale. Mr. Frantom is survived by his sons, Michael (Sandra) Frantom, Fort Wayne, IN and Douglas (Patricia) Frantom, Saline, MI; brothers, Rex Frantom, Hillsdale, MI and William (Marilyn) Frantom, Zephyrhills, FL; grandchildren, Sara F54rantom and David Frantom and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 53 years, Aleta Frantom. The family suggests memorial donations to the American Heart Association in Mr. Frantoms memory.
